At TMT Roofing, we take pride in delivering top-notch craftsmanship and innovative solutions. Our latest project in Lake City, Florida, is no exception—a metal roofing transformation spanning six buildings that stand ready to face Florida’s notorious weather with style and strength.
The Nuts and Bolts (Literally!)
When we say we pay attention to the details, we mean it:
- Purlins Galore: 490 1×4 purlins laid the groundwork (well, roof work) for this job.
- Nailing It: 20,832 nails ensured the purlins weren’t going anywhere. That’s a lot of hammering, but hey, we don’t cut corners—just metal.
- Fastener Frenzy: 10,730 fasteners joined the party to secure the metal panels, creating a sleek, seamless finish.
- Extra Protection: Foil insulation was installed to keep things cool, calm, and collected during those sizzling Florida summers.
Built to Weather the Storms
Metal roofing isn’t just about looking good (though it certainly does that too). These roofs are rated to withstand winds up to 140 mph, making them perfect for our hurricane-prone state. When Mother Nature throws her worst at Florida, this metal roofing system says, “Not today.”
Standing Seam Sophistication
We took extra care with the circular roof areas, installing a standing seam system known for its clean, modern appearance and exceptional durability. The concealed fasteners ensure a watertight seal and long-lasting performance, proving that what’s hidden beneath the surface truly makes all the difference.
Customer Satisfaction? Through the Roof!
Let’s just say, our customer was more than pleased. They got a roofing system that combines function and flair, plus the peace of mind that comes with knowing their buildings are storm-ready. High fives all around!
